Designing in black and white can present some challenges but it can be fun too! It is so chic and classic. It can also be modern and edgy. This wedding stationery package was particularly fun to do.

“I love mums (chrysanthemums) and I have a rubber stamp imprint that I want to be used on my stationery,” Michelle said as she described the special request that she and fiancée, Philip, had for their wedding stationery.

Kate and Jace had some ideas of what they wanted but leaned on me for direction. The wedding colors were navy and gray. They were dreaming of stationery that was classic, understated and simple. Because of that, I left off extraneous design elements and let the colors and visual textures carry the design.
