Wedding stationery is the first impression your guests get of your wedding. Make an impact with stationery that reflects who you are. Have someone by your side who knows the ins and outs of wedding stationery! Sarah Anderson Designs is here to help you!
As soon as you get engaged, contact Sarah Anderson Designs to save your date in my design schedule. This way you will have a reserved spot and you will know in advance when I will be working on your custom wedding stationery. Together, we will use the timeframe recommendations below and customize a design timeline for you.
6-12 Months From Wedding:
Send out Save the Date Announcements. The design process for Save the Date Announcements can start as soon as we finalize the timeline for your wedding stationery.
6 Months From Wedding:
Start the design process for the invitation package and rehearsal dinner invitations.
While designing the invitation package, set the RSVP date for 3 weeks before the wedding. It is far enough in advance to give you time to contact any guests who have not yet responded. Three weeks prior to the wedding is typically early enough, but some vendors might have different requirements. Make sure to confirm the RSVP date with your vendors.
5 Months From Wedding:
Finalize designs for the invitation package and rehearsal dinner invitations.
Order materials.
Start designs for any remaining materials.
6 To 8 Weeks From Wedding:
Send out invitations.
Finalize designs for remaining stationery pieces for the day of the wedding. (Program, Reception Place Cards, Meal Menu, Table Names/Numbers, Table Plan and any other custom pieces)
Get stationery pieces ordered.
The Big Day - It is Wedding Day! Enjoy Every Minute!
Six Weeks Post Wedding:
Send out Thank You Cards. The design process for Thank You Cards should start as soon as you have access to the photo you want to use. If you are not using a photo from your wedding day, the design and printing of Thank You Cards could be done at any time, even before your wedding day.
